Charleston and Mt. Pleasant South Carolina Weather

The weather in Charleston South Carolina is generally mild throughout the year. However, as you can see from the information set forth below, the temperature can dip into the 30's at night and at times even into the teens. However, the cold spells are generally short lived and soon you can be out playing golf, walking the beach or enjoying the water activities in a light jacket or sweater.Although the Charleston area saw over a foot of snow fall in the late 1980's, snow is rare in the "lowcountry." It does get hot in the summer with high humidity, but Charleston is probably comparable to many other parts of the country in the summer time.
