Sullivan's Island is a small beach and residential community/town located in the "East Cooper" area of Charleston County about 15 minutes from the Charleston Historic District. It's miles of public beach, quaint shops, and restaurants draw visitors from throughout the country.The visitors who rent single family residents on the island or stay in nearby local motels mix easily with the year round residents.
